Be polite and accept the compliments you receive. Rather than dispute something nice that someone said to you. Be gracious and say thank you. Then compliment the other person genuinely. Enjoy savoring all your sweet flatteries.

A new planner is key to organizing your life. I like this planner because it has a weekly view with plenty of room to write. It is a very basic color, so I write with colorful pens. Choose one that fits your personality and inspires you to use it everyday. This year live your life with a plan and wake up everyday with a purpose.

Design the life you want to live

Four days into the new year.  What do you plan to accomplish? What is your vision for 2012? How do you plan to get there? Here is an idea to keep you on track with your resolutions, goals, and turning your dreams into reality.

Create a Vision Board

(credit)
Start by browsing through old magazines, cut out pictures that relate to your goals. If you want more money, cut out a dollar sign or an individual you feel has accomplished this task. If you want to travel cut out the places you would like to visit and paste them on your vision board. A cork board will do, just have some thumb tags handy.

Now, the pictures serve as a reminder of what you plan to achieve. Make a conscious effort to pursue these ideas everyday. Some of these events can be what you want to accomplish in your lifetime. (Those are okay to put on the board too!)

Always strive to be a better version of yourself.

Until next time,

Sassy Sunday

It is a New Year and I'm welcoming 2012 with open arms. I am also making sure Sassy Sundays become a priority. What you can expect from this year's post: endless amounts of positive energy, enthusiasm, motivation, and inspiration. Writing makes me happy. So, why not make a commitment to do more of what makes me happy?

Time to make room for everything you got under the Christmas tree. Now, I know this can be an overwhelming task. Organizing can sometimes be a chore. I recommend turning on music and start with one area at a time. For example, begin with your closet space. Rummage through your clothes and create a pile to donate. You might discover items you have forgotten about. If you are able to see what you have, it will be easier to get ready everyday. Tip: If you haven't worn it in a year, get rid of it.

Embrace Individuality

Don't drink too much. New Year's is the end of the holiday season and it is also a beginning. Have fun, but know your limit before you start sipping your pretty little drinks.

Now, you do!

Treat Yourself to a new workout regime. Make your body a priority for a lifetime. I have already started using my Everlast Cardio Freestanding Striking bag. It's a great workout and stress reliever.

Resolutions are nice to find what you would like to change for the year. However, don't set yourself for failure. Creating small habits are more manageable than trying to conquer everything in one day. If your desire is a healthier, better-looking body, remember it will take time to see such change.

Find what makes you happy, make a plan, and see it through. Every year brings new possibilities and opportunities. Everyday take a small step to find your ultimate happiness.

Until next time,

Here's to always being your B.E.S.T!
