I have joined the iPhone mania circle. This quite fancy phone has many features and applications. I have outgrown angry birds and look for apps that are a better waste of my time. (

My current favorite is Snoopy's Street Fair.
In the beginning there is a lemonade stand operated by Charlie's sister Sally, his loyal dog Snoopy prancing around, and a few friends willing to spend money on this simple product. Upon earning more money, the player is able to fund their future expansions. This includes but not limited to: kissing booths, cotton candy, popcorn stands, and a jukebox.

Upgrading to the next level! (Yeah, we did it!) |
Playing games are fun and a great way to keep the mind active. Some are more challenging than others. Although, I still resort back to my paper word searches, if I am going to have a phone that is equivalent to a new wardrobe, it should at the very least entertain me.

Greetings from Tokyo!
ReplyDeleteI've been playing the Japanese version for 61 days and having a blast. My To-Do list tells me to get the jukebox but I can't find it. I'm on Level 28 with SN$78. I've checked the house and all the item menus. What am I missing?
Thanks! Jeff...
Hi Livin N. Nippon!
DeleteGreetings from New Mexico. The jukebox should be under the "contacts" section. Then click on the picture of the booth and is should cost around $144,000.
Also, make sure to update the game though iTunes. If that doesn't work, there is a HELP button on the main menu.
Hope this helps! Thank you for your comment!
Thanks, TDT!
DeleteThe J-version interface has a lot of differences with the Western version. The jukebox finally appeared as a sale item, then in the contents list. But at SN$18, it's not a great bargain.
Cheers! Jeff....
Jeff,
DeleteYou're welcome. I'm happy to hear the game finally worked in your favor. Cheers and good luck!
Hello, Sassy!
ReplyDeleteStill playing Snoopy Street? I finally figured out a way to play the English version, and there so many differences in the gameplay.
In the Japanese version:
Jukebox = 18 bucks (not coins, Snoopy bucks!)
Watermelon = 15 bucks
Cupcakes = 15 bucks
Choco banana = 10 bucks
These are To-Do list items (and cupcakes you need to buy two of). Plus, there are no Frequent Player bonuses, and almost no upgrade rewards (2 bucks each time) these days.
The J-version has a lot of stands that the English version doesn't have, like a Green Tea cart, Fried Chicken, Crepes, and few others.
My iPad is set to the Japanese store and my iPhone is set to U.S., so after syncing in iTunes, I can play 4 different games at once. Crazy, huh?
Cheers! Jeff...
Hello Jeff,
DeleteYes I am still playing. I'm on level 29. It sounds to me like you have the best of both worlds! I love green tea would wish that was on the US version.
That is very crazy, but exciting at the same time.
Thank you so much for the update!
Happy Snoopy Day!
Hiya, Sassy!
ReplyDeleteSorry, it's been a while since I stopped by. The game has gotten better, and now there are frequent player bonuses in the J version, too.
Only problem now is that 1st generation iPads don't have enough RAM. So, I suppose it's time to upgrade.
Take Care!

Hi Jeff,
ReplyDeleteYes the game has gotten better. I like that there are monthly themes and new items that you don't have to use Snoppy cash to purchase. I haven't downloaded the version for the Ipad.
That is a downside that the Ipad only comes with a certain amount of RAM. What level are you on now?
I believe I am on level 34.
Thanks for stopping by,
Tiara
