Surprisingly, I did not have a hard time writing 2/29/12. People seemed to be a fairly decent mood today. Just hopping along towards the anticipation of a new month.

I came across these really cute leap year bookmarks. How fitting they have frogs on them.

I am still in the process of reading The Help book, so I plan to print these froggies on card stock to hopefully inspire me to finish the novel faster. It is a good read, I just need to make more time to accomplish this task.

Snoopy's Street Fair

I have joined the iPhone mania circle. This quite fancy phone has many features and applications. I have outgrown angry birds and look for apps that are a better waste of my time. (wink)

My current favorite is Snoopy's Street Fair.

In the beginning there is a lemonade stand operated by Charlie's sister Sally, his loyal dog Snoopy prancing around, and a few friends willing to spend money on this simple product. Upon earning more money, the player is able to fund their future expansions. This includes but not limited to: kissing booths, cotton candy, popcorn stands, and a jukebox.

Playing games are fun and a great way to keep the mind active. Some are more challenging than others. Although, I still resort back to my paper word searches, if I am going to have a phone that is equivalent to a new wardrobe, it should at the very least entertain me.

Country soul

As promised, I wanted to share my lovely country concert experience. I have to admit when asked what my favorite genre or type of music, county does not always come to mind.

However,  I am a firm believer that all types of music can bring joy to our lives. I enjoyed the performances of Scotty McCreery, The Band Perry, and Brad Paisley, but I really enjoyed their songs about women.

What a wonderful thing to write about! We truly are a mystery and we are also something to be admired. Place yourself on your pedestal my ladies, because that is where you should be.

Do not interpret this honor as a way to belittle others. It is more about your self-worth. When a man wants your time and more importantly your love, he should have to work for it.

Your time and affection should be appreciated. This is also true with your friends and family.

Chivalry is not dead. There are men that realize what women are worth. (Respect, honor, affection)

Men should be nothing less than charming princes. Women should always act appropriately for we all hold a title of princess.

There's a proper way to sneeze. With cold/flu season still present, let's all try to not pass on the germs. In the event you have to cough or sneeze cover your nose or mouth with your left hand.

Your right hand should be clean to open doors and shake hands. If you're not near a sink, use hand sanitizer and wash your hands as soon as possible.

Attend a concert. I had the opportunity to watch some amazing country performers. I'll post more soon. It was a great time to sit back and enjoy listening to very pretty voices. A treat that I'll treasure.

Wandering heart

I spend a lot time self-reflecting and day dreaming. When I let my mind wander, I  think about my dream life. Not that I don't appreciate the one that I have...it's more about where I want my life to be.

I think about buying my first house, finishing my scrapbook, places I want to travel, and other things I want to create in my lifetime. My dream world provides perspective to my reality.

Obviously, if I'm dreaming about a journey I'm not there yet. My dream helps motivate me to learn how to get there. I believe that dreams offer us magic to create our own destinies.
